Avengerella in Real Life is the story of one young man’s obsession with a real-life super-heroine, his connection with her sidekick, and his need to pull himself out of the rut his life has settled into. When he discovers his unique ability to thwart the latest super villain, he has the option of stepping up or bowing out, but years of living his tightly focused life have left him unable to realize his own potential.
AiRL is currently being broken down to its component quarks so that the universal forces of storytelling can build it back up into a diamond-hard, Teflon-smooth, frothy-light substance of unimaginable brightness. In other words, it is in outline form. A similar process happened to Avengerella herself, thus the superness.

Avengerella has started to actually exist other than on paper…Well, she’s still just on paper, but rather than just being words on paper, she’s starting to become lines and shadows and something to look at, and not just read about. I’ll be posting some sketches and such soon, then perhaps everyone can see why those who adore her do adore her so.
Avengerella is basically an attention hog (not many know that her powers increase proportionately with how much she is idolized) so giving you all more to look at is fine with her.

Webisode? Minisode? ReCinesode? What is the proper term to use? Been thinking up some ideas to embellish the background on the AiRL story. The goal is to develop a handful of 30 second to two minute mini movies for perusal on the web. The purpose is to get people familiar with the world these characters inhabit. What will this world be? Only your humble author’s cerebellum knows for sure at this point, and he ain’t talkin’ yet.

Workin’ on a few (poorly drawn) storyboards ‘n such. Script is coming along - about 8 pages or so in right now. Avengerella yearns to spring forth, fully formed, as Aphrodite from the sea-foam, but she’s not going to. She’s been gestating a while now, and will for a while longer.

Avengerella has been spending a couple months in treatment. After facing down some mediocre super villains, however, stronger ones have started rearing their ugly noggins, forcing the super heroine to make her move. She seeks the approval of all who witness her but will settle for worship instead, if that’s the only other option.
